Chris and IWS have been a pleasure to work with! After coming out for an estimate and speaking with me about possible solutions, Chris wrote up a detailed estimate and gave me a few different options along with his recommendations. They ended up installing a few basins in the lowest points of the yard that use a sump pump to push water to the street, and did so at a super reasonable cost. I highly recommend IWS and would gladly use them in the future

It has been 9 years since IWS installed our system. Had a question the other day, Gabe responded within 24 hours and was as pleasant as always. Gave me all the information I needed and more. These people are great!

I had severe drainage issues in my backyard; specific part of my yard was at its lowest point which also happened to be under the shade so the water wouldn't drain and mud wouldn't dry off for weeks. After evaluating several businesses I reached out to IWS; they came on site and assessed the situation and provided drainage solution. With the amount of rain Austin has had in recent past, I am glad I worked with this company to put the needed drainage in place several months ago. I highly recommend this business for resolving drainage problems in your yard.

The IWS crew was very professional, and they were always prompt in their responses to any questions or concerns. I had them install a 32k gallon rainwater system on my property. They took care of everything for the install, from tree clearing to electrical, so it was nice to not have to deal with multiple companies. Turn around time, once the tank was ready, was very quick, and they made sure I understood every part of the system once they were finished. All in all, the quality of work was top-notch, and I would absolutely recommend their services!

My interactions Chris Maxwell-Gaines began in 11/23 after we met for a consultation because I was experiencing flooding in my home, backyard, and side yard. After going back and forth for months I finally got a proposal/plan and paid them a deposit on 2/9/23. 4 MONTHS went by and I was sick of being ignored over and over again when I asked for an ETA. The work never was scheduled. I had to wait until 6/6/23 to get my money back. Keep in mind that during these 4 months I continued to suffer with active flooding issues in my home through the Spring rains. NEVER work with these people. They're unprofessional, unresponsive and a complete waste of time, money, and energy. I could have found help back in Feb 2023, but no, I am still dealing with flooding issues more than a year later .... Not to mention that the work they DID do for the HOA was pathetic. They supposedly guarantee their work but I continue to experience flooding after they put a "swale" along the side of my yard. I can't tell if it's even an inch or two deeper than what it was, it's negligible and it made no difference whatsoever. It took me so long to recover from this that I am writing my review months later.. I sincerely hope that businesses like these go out of business because of how poorly they treat their *paying* clients.

We also were not impressed with this company. They came out to inspect the storm water issue on our property and even gave some verbal recommendations on what they might do to fix it. The person was courteous and seemed legit, so I was hopeful. But then we never heard from them and never received a quote. I sent one email asking about it but got no reply.

We did a whole house system with Innovative, a substantial investment. They are nice people, and we enjoyed working with them. While the rainwater is one of the great things about the house, Innovative is very unresponsive and provides less than expected service after the sale.

We are in the midst of a project with Innovative Water Solutions, and it is not going well. We received a proposal to replace the gutter system and lay an underground pipe to carry water to the street. Because IWS is busy, the project has to be broken into two parts: gutters first, pipes later. It took a month to get a date for the gutters, and it will take 10-12 weeks for the pipe. Not great, but OK. The problem is this: they installed one of the gutters in the wrong place. Instead of putting it in front of the house so that water drains down the driveway and into the street, they placed it on the side, so that it drains into an enclosed side yard. We discussed gutter placement with Dennis when the proposal was created and again on the day that they were installed. When the crew left and we realized what they had done, my husband called and emailed Gabe, the project manager. He has not heard back. As I write this, we are experiencing torrential rains and a small pond is developing near the foundation of my house. Exactly what we wanted to avoid and why we were having the work done to begin with. Very disappointing.

We got our quote quickly and then had to sit on repairs for a few months. When we called them back, the quote was honored and a walkthrough was scheduled within a day or two. Once work began, the team was quick, efficient, and friendly. They did a great job digging around fencing and an A/C unit, not to mention rocks and weed block fabric. Fantastic job all around.

Outstanding people to work with. They installed the rain water collection system 4 years ago - functioned perfectly. I had a few questions along the way for maintenance issues, very helpful and easy to work with. I purchased a spare water pump to keep on hand in case of a failure, there pricing was more than reasonable. The big freeze came to Texas this year and we suffered some freeze damage ( this was my fault - I didn't drain the systems gutter collection pipes ) Gabe and his crew replaced the damaged pipes in 1 afternoon. These guys are great to work with and prompt, they were on the job just a few days after we called. Unbelievable response time considering there work load. From design, construction, maintenance, information and repairs - THEESE ARE THE FOLKS TO CALL!! 6 out of 5 stars!

These folks did some drainage improvement work for us. We received bids from a few other reputable establishment before selecting Innovative Water Solutions. Their project design plan and installation work was excellent. We have had several heavy rains since work was completed and the improvements are dramatic. The cost was also reasonable and affordable.

Called for help with our water pump (needed replacing) and was able to get an appointment the next day. Jacob came out and ran into some issues with our particular setup (wasn't installed by Innovative) and spent hours trying to figure it out. Eventually Chris came out as well and it turned into an all day job. Despite the hour, they stuck with it to make sure it was fixed (and my family had water). I can't recommend them enough. Will definitely have them back to do some maintenance and improvements.

The guys came and gave me a consultation to optimize my previously installed rainwater collection system. They had some great ideas, and implemented them at a good price. Everything looks great, the team was very professional

Chris did a rainwater collection plan for me in 2013. Along with my builder, I installed it. It is the best system I have living off the grid in South Texas. My water is delicious and I have wonderful ice. The water in my area is typically from wells and is full of boron and salts, has a foul taste and is not good for plants. My rain water is pure and delicious and painless!!
