Jessica Dunn

Office Manager

Born in the South Plains of Lubbock and raised in El Paso and Odessa, Texas, Jessica’s connection to water conservation runs deeper than professional expertise, it’s personal. Growing up on her grandparents’ farm and ranch, she spent hours building miles of fences, tending cattle, feeding and grooming horses, picking cotton and sorghum, canning fruits from the orchard, or handling any number of odd jobs and experiencing firsthand the realities of farm life in regions where water is scarce and groundwater often isn’t safe to drink. These formative experiences instilled in her a lifelong mission: improving water quality for future generations.

With over five years of specialized experience in irrigation, including center pivot ag irrigation, and more than twelve years managing day-to-day accounting operations for small businesses, she brings a unique combination of technical expertise and personal understanding of water challenges to the rainwater harvesting field. As a licensed irrigator, she has built a solid foundation in water systems that emphasize both sustainable practices and real-world efficiency. What truly distinguishes her approach is the emphasis she places on building trust and maintaining transparency with clients. Her extensive accounting background has given her valuable insight into financial processes, but she has never believed in hiding behind jargon or red tape. Instead, she prioritizes making clients feel comfortable and respected, particularly when discussing billing and payments. Her goal is simple, when people call, she wants them to feel like they’re reaching a supportive team member, not dreading a conversation with accounting.

Jessica’s academic journey began at Texas Tech University, where she was an active member of the marching band, truly an experience that proved both exhilarating and formative. Her academic coursework encompassed turfgrass management, freshwater ecology, botany, and various disciplines tied to natural resources. A particular highlight was being selected as one of only two women in her region for the prestigious NASA Aerospace Scholars Program.

At the core of all her work lies a deep passion for teaching and learning. Whether guiding a client through complex payment processes or explaining how irrigation systems and rainwater harvesting can support long-term water sustainability goals, she consistently seeks to share knowledge in accessible and engaging ways. She strives to bring integrity, curiosity, and genuine human connection to every interaction. Whether working directly with irrigation systems or empowering clients through clear financial communication, she believes in approaching everything with excellence, empathy, and a healthy sense of humor. Ultimately, her work is driven by the knowledge that water is life, and ensuring its quality and availability for future generations is something we can all work together to achieve. This same passion extends to her 25-year dedication to Tae Kwon Do, where she currently holds the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt, Master Instructor. She remains active in tournaments, seminars, and community demonstrations, and finds tremendous joy in teaching students from all backgrounds both the art and philosophy of Tae Kwon Do.
