Bee Cave Water Restrictions

The City of Bee Cave is not a utility provider. Service is made available and provided by other, various utility agencies depending upon the subdivision, location and service area.

West Travis County Public Utility Agency (WTCPUA)

Current Stage: Stage 2

Irrigation of landscaped areas with hose-end sprinklers or automatic irrigation systems between midnight – 6 a.m. ONLY.

Residential Watering Days and Hours:

  • Addresses ending in 0,1,2,3: Monday and Thursday
  • Addresses ending in 4,5,6: Tuesday and Friday
  • Addresses ending in 7,8,9: Wednesday and Saturday

Commercial (including large landscapes and HOA common areas) Water Days and Hours:

  • Tuesday and Friday

No watering allowed on Sundays.

Additional restrictions include:

  • New landscapes may only be installed if they do not require a variance to the mandatory watering schedule.
  • Filling of all new and existing pools, hot tubs, wading pools is prohibited, unless application for variance is approved on a case by case basis. Replenishing to maintenance level is permitted.

Travis County Water District 17

Current Stage: Stage 2

Customers limited to a maximum of  1 day per week

Automated Irrigation Water Schedule

  • Allowed to water BETWEEN 12 a.m. and 10 a.m. OR 7:00 p.m. to 12 a.m. on your authorized day

Your days based on address ending number:

  • Monday: 0, 1 (Residential)
  • Tuesday: 4, 5, 6 (Residential)
  • Wednesday: 7, 8, 9 (Residential)
  • Thursday: 2, 3 (Residential)
  • Friday: Commercial / HOAs
  • Saturday: No automated systems allowed
  • Sunday: No automated systems allowed

Aboveground (hose-end) sprinklers allowed once on designated day between the hours of 12 a.m. and 10 a.m. OR 7:00 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Note: Customers that utilize automated systems may NOT water the same landscape areas using
hose end sprinklers; only hand held hose if additional water is required.

Hose End Sprinkler: Any Day

  • Note: Only for Customers who do not have automated irrigation systems
  • Allowed any day, no watering between 10:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
