Georgetown Water Restrictions

Current Stage: Stage 1

Water Schedule:

  • 7:00 pm to 9:00 am

For irrigation systems and hose-end sprinklers, landscape irrigation will be limited to a schedule based on the last digit of your address number:

  • No irrigation allowed on Mondays.  Violations of these restrictions may result in fines.
  • Adresses ending in 1, 5, 9: Tuesday and/or Friday
  • Adresses ending in 2, 4, 6, 8: Wednesday and/or Saturday
  • Adresses ending in 0, 3, 7: Thursday and/or Sunday

The two-day schedule spreads watering over six days each week in order to balance demand on the water system. Irrigation is not permitted on Mondays. This is scheduled as a maintenance and recovery day for the water system.

Watering with a hand-held hose or bucket can be done any day, as well as other outdoor uses such as washing a vehicle or filling a swimming pool.

Watering with a sprinkler or irrigation system is not recommended during the day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
