Leander Water Restrictions
Current Stage: Stage 2
If your RESIDENTIAL STREET ADDRESS NUMBER ends in:
- Addresses ending in 1, 5, or 9: Friday
- Addresses ending in 2, 4, 6, or 8: Wednesday
- Addresses ending in 0, 3, or 7: Sunday
- No watering on Monday
- Watering by hand is allowed on any day at any time.
By Water*, landscape irrigation allowed before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m. only.
If your COMMERCIAL STREET ADDRESS NUMBER ends in
- Addresses ending in 1, 5, or 9: Tuesday
- Addresses ending in 2, 4, 6, or 8: Saturday
- Addresses ending in 0, 3, or 7: Thursday
Under Phase 2, hand-held watering is allowed at any time as well as everyday water uses like drinking, bathing, and washing clothes and dishes. However, please conserve to keep water demands low.
Other nonessential water uses are prohibited under Phase 2 except for:
- Use of water from hydrants or flush valves for construction purposes or other activities necessary to maintain public health, safety, and welfare.
- Addition of water to a pool or splash pad where necessary to maintain the water purification system in service or to maintain structural integrity of the pool.
- Washing of vehicles or boats at a commercial wash facility, or as part of a charity event held on commercial property during the property’s designated watering day.
- Industrial water uses as necessary to maintain public health, safety, and welfare.
