Manor Water Restrictions

Current Stage: Stage 2

Residential Users:

  • Odd addresses can water on Wednesdays and Saturdays
  • Even addresses can water on Thursday and Sundays
  • Hand-held hose or watering can is permitted at any time
  • Hose-end sprinklers can be used 7pm – 10am
  • Automatic sprinklers can be used 12am (midnight) – 10am

Commercial & Multifamily Users:

  • All addresses can water on Tuesday and Friday
  • Hand-held hose or watering can is permitted at any time
  • Hose-end sprinklers can be used 7pm – 10am
  • Automatic sprinklers can be used 12am (midnight) – 10am

Additional Restrictions:

  • These restrictions do not apply to watering with treated wastewater effluent, raw water, well water, storm water, or stored rainwater.
  • These restrictions do not apply to commercial plant nurseries.
  • These restrictions do not apply to the repair or testing of a new or existing irrigation system so long as the person responsible for conducting the test is present.
  • Athletic Fields used for organized sports may file for an exception with the City Manager.
  • Irrigation of new landscaping requires notice and conservation plan approval from the City Manager.
  • Washing of vehicles or mobile equipment is restricted to hand-held hose with positive shutoff nozzle on designated days between the hours of 7 pm to 10 am.
  • “Charity” car washes are not allowed.
  • These restrictions do not apply to commercial car washes utilizing specific equipment as defined in the City Ordinance, or if washing the vehicle is necessary to protect the health, safety, or welfare of the public.
  • The use of automatic fill valves to add water to a swimming pool, wading pool, or pond is not allowed.  Water may only be added by hand-held hose on the user’s designated water day.
  • Operation of ornamental outdoor fountains or structures is not allowed except as necessary for aeration to preserve habitat for aquatic species.
  • Golf course fairways may only be watered from 7 pm to 10 am on designated watering days. Greens and tee-boxes may be watered every-other day with a schedule approved and filed with the City Manager.
  • The washing of sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, streets, tennis courts, patios or other paved areas is prohibited except to alleviate an immediate health or safety concern.
