Wells Branch MUD Water Restrictions

Current Stage: Stage 2

Residential

Hose-end Sprinklers – one day per week – midnight to 10 a.m. and/or 7 p.m. to midnight

  • Even address – Sunday
  • Odd address – Saturday

Automatic Irrigation – one day per week – midnight to 5 a.m. and/or 7 p.m. to midnight (Residential customers may also water a second day with a hose-end sprinkler)

  • Even address – Thursday
  • Odd address – Wednesday

Commercial / Multi-family / Public Schools

Hose-end Sprinklers or Automatic Irrigation – one day per week – midnight to 5 a.m. and/or 7 p.m. to midnight

  • Even address – Tuesday
  • Odd address – Friday

Home carwash must use auto-shutoff valve or bucket.

Ornamental Fountains with fall greater than 4 inches are prohibited.

Water waste is prohibited and can be enforced at all times.

The following are allowed at any time on any day of the week:

  • Watering with drip irrigation, a hand-held hose or a refillable container
  • Watering trees with a Treegator®, soaker hose or automatic tree bubbler
  • Watering vegetable gardens with a soaker hose
  • Pressure washing at residences, including sidewalk, driveway, deck, patio, siding, fence, and paved areas

Water Conservation
In addition to the current water restrictions, we recommend residents take measures to limit discretionary and non-essential water usage.

  • Wash down of any hard-surfaced areas, structures or vehicles
  • Use of water for landscape irrigation
  • Use of water for dust control
  • Use of water in a fountain, pool, or water feature
