Rainwater Pillow Tanks

Advantages:

  • Can be an economical storage solution for water
  • Great option for small urban properties if your house has a crawlspace or a space under a deck
  • Complete protection from any UV sunlight degradation since the pillow is installed under cover
  • Kit sizes are available but it can be custom manufactured in any dimensions you require
  • Provides strength and durability for years of reliable performance
  • Can be food grade, NSF approved for drinking water storage
  • Very easy to install if installation space is available and prepped

Disadvantages:

  • Tanks can have a very large footprint at the larger volumes due to full height limit of tank
  • Manufacturing and distribution of pillow tanks can be localized, meaning they may be difficult to find in your area and thus the pillow tank must be shipped to you
  • Inlet filtration is vital for these tanks since they are difficult to clean out
