Wood wrapped cisterns
Advantages:
- Wood wrap can be applied to any cistern
- Can completely change the look of your cistern
- Wood can be installed around the cistern fairly easily
- A roof structure is optional but it can help to complete the look
- Wrap provides polyethylene tanks complete protection from any UV sunlight degradation
Disadvantages:
- The material and labor to wrap a cistern will increase the total cost of the rainwater collection system but the collection efficiency will stay the same.
- Constructing a roof structure over the tank can be difficult on some tanks
