Lakeway Water Restrictions

Current Stage: Stage 3

Residential Watering Days and Hours:

  • Addresses ending in 1 or 3: Monday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Addresses ending in 2 or 4: Tuesday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Addresses ending in 5 or 7: Wednesday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Addresses ending in 6 or 8: Thursday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Addresses ending in 9 or 0: Friday, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
  • Watering by hand, power washing, car washing is allowed on any day at any time.

Commercial Watering Days and Hours:

  • Saturday, Before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

According to the restrictions, a water user must not:

  1. Fail to repair a controllable leak, including a broken sprinkler head, a leaking valve, leaking or broken pipes, or a leaking faucet;
  2. Operate an irrigation system with:
    • a broken head;
    • a head that is out of adjustment and the arc of the spray head is over a street or parking area; or
    • a head that is fogging or misting because of excessive water pressure.
  3. During irrigation, allow water:
    • to run off a property and form a stream of water in a street for a distance of 50 feet or greater; or
    • to pool in a street or parking lot to a depth greater than one-quarter of an inch
