Upper Trinity GCD Rainwater Harvesting Rebate
The Upper Trinity Groundwater District offers an annual rainwater harvesting grant program, available to eligible entitles within the four district counties:
- Hood County
- Montague County
- Parker County
- Wise County
Program Timeline:
- Application Period: October 1, 2023 to February 29, 2024
- Review Period: March 2024 – April 2024
- April 2024: Finalists will be contacted for interview
- May 2024 – June 2024: Winners honored at District Board Meeting
The applicant systems shall be scored according to the District’s scoring criteria system.
Applicants will need to submit all necessary materials before the application window deadline, and finalists will be contacted before the grantees are selected.

The amounts available each year are decided by the District Board of Directors during the annual budgeting process. The amount for projects will be allocated from the annual budget and may change from year to year.
The District reserves the right to decide the quantity of projects to be funded within the fiscal year based on available funds. The number of supported projects will be based on the quantity of applications received during the application period and how the projects ran on the adopted scoring criteria system.
